Barry F. Desgroseilliers, 66

Westborough - Barry F. Desgroseilliers, 66, also known as Barry F. Dennis, died suddenly Monday Oct. 22, 2007 while recuperating from surgery.

He leaves his wife, Maryann (Ramondelli) Desgroseilliers; his daughters, Lisa Goselin and her husband, Eric, and Jill Sarro and her husband, Peter; his brother, Ronald Desgroseilliers; his grandchildren, Matthew, Max, Benjamin and Amanda; and nieces and nephews.

Born in Leominster, the son of Albert and Elizabeth (Anderson) Desgroseilliers, he was raised in Fitchburg. He graduated in 1959 from St. Bernard's High School in Fitchburg and earned his degree in Funeral Service at New England Institute of Embalming in Boston.

Mr. Desgroseilliers worked in the Boston area for the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home for 20 years. He later moved to Westborough in 1982 and became owner and operator of the Britton- Summers Funeral Home until the present time. He was a dedicated funeral director and served many families with compassion and care.

He loved his daughters and grandchildren dearly, and enjoyed boating, traveling, fishing, eating out, gardening, his boxer dogs and fast cars, especially his 350 Z.

Funeral services were held Oct. 26 from the Britton- Summers Funeral Home, with burial at St. Luke's Cemetery in Westborough. Memorial donations may be made to the Westborough Food Pantry, P.O. Box 502, Westborough, MA 01581 or to the Worcester Animal League 139 Holden St., Worcester, MA 01606.
