Nancy A. O'Connor Hjerpe, 75 West Palm Beach, Fla. - Nancy Hjerpe, formerly of Northborough, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, surrounded by her husband, children and sister, after a long and heroic fight with Alzheimer's disease. Her husband of 52 years, Edward Hjerpe Jr., lovingly cared for her in their West Palm Beach home for the last several years. They were blessed to have Virginia Morris assist them in her care. Besides her husband, she leaves her children, Kathleen Hjerpe Danais and her husband, Marc; Edward Corps Reserves for seven years and moved to Marlborough in 1971. Mr. Domings owned and operated Art Domings Insurance Agency in Marlborough for 20 years. He was a member of the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce and the Riverside Rod and Gun Club in Hudson. He had a strong interest in fly fishing and tying his own flies, and was a competitive target shooter with a pistol, winning regional, state and national awards. He was also very active in golf, photography, wood working, cooking and art. He loved to spend time with his daughters and his grandson, and also loved his two cats. A memorial time of remembrance and celebration of Mr. Domings' life was held Oct. 30 from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough.
