Marjorie Ann Welch, 83

Southborough - Marjorie Ann (Talbot) Welch, 83, passed away Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007 after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Paul Welch, who died in 2002.

She leaves her son, Paul Welch and his wife, Susan; her grandchildren, Marc and Kathleen Welch; her great-grandchild, Dylan Welch; her siblings, Ted Talbot, Jack Talbot and Joann Lumino; and nieces and nephews. Her other son, Mark Welch, passed away in 2005.

Born Sept. 2, 1924 in Medford, the daughter of John and Kathryn (Kutt) Talbot, she had lived many years in Southborough.

Mrs. Welch volunteered at the Southborough Public Library, but her greatest enjoyment was time spent vacationing with her family on the beaches of Cape Cod. She also enjoyed birding and was a supporter of the Massachusetts Audubon Society.

A prayer service was held Oct. 31 from Roney Funeral Homes - North Chapel in North Grafton, with burial at Rural Cemetery in Southborough. Memorial donations may be made to the Massachusetts Audubon Society, Development Office, 208 S. Great Rd., Lincoln, MA 01773.
