Christopher A. Demos, 55

Marlborough - Christopher A. Demos, 55, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2007 at his home.

He leaves his wife of 32 years, Barbara (Diciaccio) Demos; his daughters, Jennifer Demos and Michelle Taylor; his grandchildren, Haylie and Jamison, who were the apples of his eye; his brothers and their spouses, James and Eleanor Demos and Nicholas and Elisabeth Demos; and his sister-in-law, Margaret Demos.

Born in Cambridge, the son of Anastos and Mary (Bogris) Demos, he lived in Marlborough for 35 years.

Mr. Demos, a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, was employed for many years as a computer engineer for the former Digital Equipment Corp., Compaq and Hewlett Packard.

He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Marlborough, a former member of the Riverside Gun Club in Hudson, and a longtime volunteer and past member of the board of directors of the Marlborough Girls Club.

A devoted father and grandfather, he volunteered countless hours with Marlborough public schools.

Funeral services were held Oct. 27 from the Immaculate Conception Church, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. The William R. Short and Son Funeral Home directed arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
