Arthur E. Domings, 64 Marlborough - Arthur R. Domings, 64, died at home Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, surrounded by his family, following a long illness. He leaves his daughters, Debbie Domings, Vickie Domings, and Michele Lee and her husband, Michael; his siblings, Robert Domings and Linda Fleming; his former wife, Shirley Glawson; and a grandson. Born in Cambridge, the son of Arthur and Dorothy (Ferreira) Domings, he was raised in Waltham and graduated from Waltham High School in 1962. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves for seven years and moved to Marlborough in 1971. Mr. Domings owned and operated Art Domings Insurance Agency in Marlborough for 20 years. He was a member of the Marlborough Chamber of Commerce and the Riverside Rod and Gun Club in Hudson. He had a strong interest in fly fishing and tying his own flies, and was a competitive target shooter with a pistol, winning regional, state and national awards. He was also very active in golf, photography, wood working, cooking and art. He loved to spend time with his daughters and his grandson, and also loved his two cats. A memorial time of remembrance and celebration of Mr. Domings' life was held Oct. 30 from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home of Marlborough.
