Sunday library hours continue

Shrewsbury - The Shrewsbury Public Library has announced the resumption of Sunday hours, which began Oct. 7. Town funding of Sunday hours was cut three years ago, but sponsors have since provided the resources to keep the library open.

Sponsorships received to date have funded Sunday service through February 2008. Sponsors include: Shrewsbury Federal Credit Union, the Rotary Club, Central One Federal Credit Union, the Lions Club, Shrewsbury Firefighters' Association, Ruth & Philip Heywood, Jeff rey & Priscilla Billingham, the Welcome Wagon Club of Shrewsbury, Polito Development Corp., Gerald Isaacson, and Drs. Mona and Mohan Korgaonkar, as well as two anonymous donors.
