Avidia Bank donates $100,000 to YMCA
Surprise check presented Nov. 5

Region - On Nov. 5, officials from Avidia Bank gathered to make a formal check presentation of $100,000 to the YMCA of Central Massachusetts-Boroughs Family Branch. Avidia Bank was recently formed by the merger of Westborough Bank and Hudson Savings Bank, both long-time financial supporters of the YMCA.

According to Joseph Mac- Donough, Avidia's executive vice president, the bank has a great appreciation of the work the YMCA does.

"Both Westborough Bank and Hudson Savings Bank are committed to our role as community supporters and we have great respect for the mission of the YMCA, the organization is made up of great people who do great work," he said. "Avidia is pleased to be in a position to help support their capital campaign."
