Art exhibit awards announced

Marlborough - The Friends of the Marlborough Public Library announced winners and donors of the 36th Annual Regional Juried Art Exhibit, on display at the library through Sunday, Nov. 11.

Winners were: first prize, William L. Chignola, Framingham; second prize, Tomi Higgins, Marlborough; third prize, Deborah Bottomley, Milford; Best of Marlborough Award, Beverly A. Rinck, Marlborough; Jurors Award, James E. Daly, Hudson; second honorable mention, Jaqueline Ross, Shrewsbury.

The Popular Vote Award will be voted on by visitors and announced at the end of the show.

Donations for the 10 prizes totaled $700. Donors were: Mayor Nancy Stevens and Daniel Stevens, Marlborough Savings Bank, Marlborough Co-Operative Bank, St. Mary's Credit Union, Marlborough Cultural Council, Fidelity Investments, Avidia Bank, Citizens Bank- Marlborough Branch, Marlborough Public Library Board of Trustees and Susanne Morreale Leeber.
