Dance event raises $3,500 for hospital's Healing Garden
Marlborough - The Marlborough Junior Woman's Club (MJWC) presents a check for $3,500 to Marlborough Hospital Oct. 24 for the Healing Garden project. MJWC members Kathleen Goneau, Katherine Hennessy, Teresa Loftin Scarpato, Marilyn Perry and Jodi Schoolcraft present the check to President and CEO John Polanowicz and Terri Reed, both of Marlborough Hospital.

The donation represents a portion of the proceeds from "Dancing with Celebrities: Marlborough Style" held at the Best Western in September. Local community leaders teamed up with dance instructors to compete for the title of "best dance team," while raising money for a good cause.
