Calling Ed McMahon to Marlborough

Marlborough - It was like a Publisher's Clearinghouse announcement: the city of Marlborough learned Oct. 30 that the state Department of Revenue's Division of Local Services certified that the city's free cash as of July 1 was more than $5 million, an increase of nearly $2 million over the previous year.

Mayor Nancy Stevens took the opportunity to thank Comptroller Tom Abel, Collector Deb Puleo, Assessor Tony Trodella and Auditor Diane Smith for their "excellent" work.
