John Harrington was honored as Marlborough's Veteran of the Year "for continued dedication and service to fellow veterans."
The event, first of its kind event in the area, came about after State Rep. Stephen P. LeDuc, D-Marlborough, wrote to the Marlborough Veterans Council suggesting recognizing a veteran of the year.
