City to offer diplomas to members of Armed Forces
Marlborough - The city of Marlborough is looking for individuals who may have left Marlborough High School prior to graduation to serve in the Armed Forces during World War II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War in order to recognize these individuals through the awarding of diplomas.

In order to be eligible, veterans must have attended Marlborough High School, served as referenced above, and have been honorably discharged. Those who have since obtained their GED are also encouraged to apply. In addition, diplomas may also be applied for posthumously by the veteran's next of kin.

A ceremony will be planned in early 2008 to honor these individuals.

Applications and information relative to eligibility proof requirements can be obtained from the city's Veterans Agent Gary Brown by visiting his office at 255 Main St. (Walker Building) in Room 107 or by calling 508-460-3782. The deadline for submitting all documentation is Monday Dec. 31.
