Beverly A. Antonio, 70

Westborough - Beverly A. Antonio, 70, died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007 at UMass Memorial Healthcare - Memorial Campus in Worcester.

She leaves her husband, Michael "Jack" Antonio; her daughters, Elizabeth Thomas and her husband, Christopher, and Catherine Antonio; her brother, Lester Taber Jr. and his wife, Doris; and her granddaughter, Abigail Thomas.

Born in North Smithfield, R.I., the daughter of Lester and M. Louise (Ewen) Taber, she was educated in North Smithfield schools and graduated from Rhode Island College.

Mrs. Antonio was a teacher in the North Smithfield and Westborough school systems before retiring in 1976.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, enjoyed traveling, U.S. history, sports and antiquing, and was an avid reader.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, at 10 a.m., in the First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main St., Westborough. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the UMass Memorial Levine Cancer Center, 119 Belmont St., Worcester, MA 01605. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Rand-Harper- Pickering Westborough Funeral Home.
