Father of three deployed to Iraq
Shrewsbury - Sgt. Robert P. Coleman, 42, was deployed to Iraq the first week of September. He grew up in Worcester and is currently a resident of Shrewsbury. His wife is Gina Coleman, who is a life-long Shrewsbury resident and a teacher's aide at Parker Road Preschool, and they have three children, Randy, Ryan and Jillian, and beagle Hunter Basil.

He received a hero's send-off at his son Ryan's football game, which he was able to attend just before his deployment.
