'Gobble Wobble' to raise funds for Recreation Dept.

Southborough - The first Gobble Wobble, a 5k run and twomile walk fund-raiser and kids fun run on Thanksgiving Day, is being sponsored by NRG BAR, a local company that makes healthy, gluten-free and dairyfree snacks.

The event is a fund-raiser for the Friends of the Southborough Recreation Department. It will be held Thursday Nov. 22 at Trottier School on Parkerville Road, with registration starting at 7 a.m. and the race starting at 8 a.m.

The entry fee for those who register by Tuesday Nov. 20 is $20 and $25 for those who register on the day of the race. The registration fee is nonrefundable. Children can participate in the Kids Fun Run for free.

Registration can be completed online or a printed and completed registration form can be sent to Southborough Recreation, 21 Highland St., Southborough MA 01772. Checks should be made payable to Friends of the Southborough Recreation Department.
