Parenting workshop offered

Region - The Assabet Valley Area Family Network will off er a free workshop, Communication Development for Birth to Five Years, Wednesday Dec. 12 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the AVA Family Network, 169 Pleasant St., 2nd floor, Marlborough.

The workshop is an introduction to how a child usually progresses from early forms of communication to more complex language. Call 508-485-0085 to register.

The Assabet Valley Area Family Network provides free family education and support to families with children to age 5 who live in Hudson, Marlborough, Southborough, Northborough, Westborough, Berlin and Boylston.
