New development near Newt development

Westborough - A building project on the site currently occupied by the Westborough Rotary's Driving Range may have hit a snag thanks to some area residents. These residents, however, are of the four-legged variety: the blue spotted salamander and the four-toed salamander, both of whom reside in the wetlands at the back of the site. Although the Home Depot portion of the project may be able to proceed, the overall plan also calls for a three-story office building, which has drawn the opposition of the town's Conservation Commission.
