Marlborough/Hudson - They have been doing this a long time. Marlborough High School had too much off ense, and too much Josh Carter, and defeated Hudson High, 42-28, on the teams' 104th meeting Thanksgiving morning. The morning fog seemed to make an already elusive Carter seem even more so, as the quarterback threw for three scores and ran for three more, including one that set the tone on the Panthers' first possession, throwing a long scoring strike to Graham Asum. Marlborough goes out winners with a 7-4 record. Hudson finishes the season at 5-6.

Here's a look at Thanksgiving morning memories, Marlborough- Hudson style.

PHOTOS/LOUIS DEFELIPPI Thanksgiving football is much more than a game; it is also the annual pre-game tailgate breakfast gathering in the parking lot led by Bob Miola (Panthers' shirt in middle) with help from Jose Romero, Corey Schlandelmayer, Scott Hill, Brian Sanders, Mile Otte and Wich Wiggin.
Hudson vs. Marlborough is a tradition that is started early and passed down through generations. Joe and Leigh Edie and their son Joey Jr. take in this year's game. Joe was one of the 1998 Hudson captains.
Halftime and pre-game performances are a big part of the pageantry of holiday football, and the Hawks' band didn't disappoint.

Please, someone give this man a hand. Marlborough's Josh Carter accepts the game MVP trophy and team trophy for the Panthers.
