Movie Presentation of "Black Gold"

The award-winning film "Black Gold" will be shown at 7 p.m. in the Parish Hall of the First Parish Unitarian Universalist Church, 40 Church St., Northborough. "Black Gold" traces, through the work of Tadesse Meskela, the struggles of Ethiopian coffee farmers to earn a fair price for their crops. Holiday Handbell Concert

The handbell choirs of the First United Methodist Church, 120 W. Westborough Menorah Lighting

Chabad of Westborough will sponsor its 6th annual Public Menorah Lighting and Chanukah Celebration in Westborough Center at the Rotary at 3:30 p.m. The highlight will be a special lighting of a menorah made out of cans!  The giant menorah will be built out of hundreds of cans of food that will subsequently be donated to feed the poor and hungry. The 7th annual Marlborough Hospital "Tree of Light" community tree lighting event will be held at 7 p.m. in the hospital's Leahy Conference Center. The Couples Project for Women

CPW offers free treatment for women with alcohol dependence who are married or live with a male partner. Weekly one-on-one outpatient therapy for 5 to 6 months promotes women's recovery.
