Emergency system's need for upgrades reviewed

      Marlborough - Marlborough city councilors on the Public Safety Committee heard about a plan to improve the city's ability to notify residents quickly in an emergency at the committee's meeting Dec. 3. The city's emergency management director told the City Council the system needs upgrades.

Councilors suggest conditions for proposed bus depot

      Marlborough - The Urban Aff airs Committee of the Marlborough City Council met Nov. 27 and demanded a number of changes from a bus company, First Student Inc., that wants to build a new depot in Marlborough. The depot would replace the company's existing one currently located on public land.
