New member appointed to ZBA

Southborough - The Board of Selectmen took care of some housekeeping issues during its Nov. 20 meeting.

For starters, the board offi- cially accepted the resignation of Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) member Justin Lundberg, who was forced to resign his post because he is moving out of town.

Filling Lundberg's spot on the ZBA will be Matt Hurley, who has served as one of the ZBA's two alternate members for the past two years.

Moving into Hurley's spot as an alternate ZBA member will be Leo Bartolini, who was a member of the Southborough Planning Board many years ago.

Town Administrator Jean Kitchen said Lundberg's resignation and the appointments of Hurley and Bartolini are eff ective immediately. Kitchen said Hurley's term will run through 2010, Bartolini's through June of 2008.

Kitchen said five candidates were interviewed by selectmen for the ZBA vacancies.
