Main Street Cafe Sing Thing Every year at Christmas, the Main Street Cafe in Marlborough conducts its annual "Christmas Sing Thing," where patrons are treated to a free non-alcoholic beverage if they serenade the staff and other patrons with a verse from any Christmas carol. The event began in 1987 when the Main Street Cafe, then Bumpy's Restaurant, relocated to 182 Main St. in Marlborough. Since then, hundreds of men, women and children have taken the opportunity to share a little holiday spirit in a quaint New England manner. This year, the Main Street Cafe will be conducting its Christmas Sing Thing through Christmas Eve, and owners Randy and Mary Scott welcome all to stop in and take part. Sun Lovers holds free tan day Nick Gentilotti, owner of Sun Lovers Tanning Salon, is offering a free tan day Friday, Dec. 21, all day. Stop by and see the brand new look at Sun Lovers and its new state-of-the-art tanning equipment, including X Series stand ups and Ultimate Minute beds. Sun Lovers is located at 530 Boston Post Rd. East (same building as Party Works) in Marlborough. See their ad in this week's issue. |
