Vacation days with the Recreation summer staff

Northborough - The Northborough Recreation Department is off ering three days of full-day care for children in grades K-5 over the December school vacation break. The program will run Wednesday Dec. 26 through Friday Dec. 28 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Gym games, sports, arts and crafts, and more will be off ered, as well as a field trip Thursday to the Strand Theater to see "The Polar Express" and an all-day field trip Friday to the Children's Museum in Boston. Trained counselors from the Recreation Department's summer program will be supervising and leading all activities, and ratios for the trips will be 1:5.

The cost for Wednesday only is $30; Thursday and Friday are $45 each, including the field trips; or sign up for all days for $100. Children will need to bring a lunch, two snacks and a water bottle.
