'Mr. Raindrop' visits preschoolers

Shrewsbury - Siblings Erik, 5, and Annika Bakken, 3, of Shrewsbury get a chance to meet "Mr. Raindrop" during a children's water conservation program held at the Shrewsbury Public Library Dec. 7. Preschoolers had the opportunity to hear stories, work on a craft, and meet Mr. Raindrop.

The program was presented by Water Conservation Coordinator Jackie Pratt, marketing manager for SELCO, and was sponsored by Shrewsbury Water Conservation Project.

Another program "Mr. Raindrop's Water Cycle," for grades K-4, will be offered at the library Wednesday Feb. 20, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. Participants will learn about the water cycle and make a terrarium. Registration will be required.
