High School to hold 'Spring Fair' event
      Marlborough - The Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School Student Council will host a community "Spring Fair" family event Saturday May 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the school parking lot at 215 Fitchburg St. The event is an excellent opportunity to sell wares, advertise a business or buy unexpected treasures.

School district moves to trim staff , save money
      Marlborough - Details are emerging this week about how the Marlborough school district is likely to change in the face of pressures from a tight budget. The school district presented a $49 million budget at the March 11 meeting of the School Committee. That represented an increase of about 6.5 percent over this year's budget.
