'Shooting Stars' problem solve for Destination Imagination

      Westborough - Corina Gencarelli examines a fossil March 28, when the Fales School kindergartners attended a presentation by paleontologist Paulette Morin, titled "Fun with Fossils and Dinosaurs." The children learned how fossils are formed, where fossils are likely to be found, and how to be a junior paleontologist.

      Northborough - A thirdgrade teacher can create all of the exoskeleton diagrams, creepy-crawly spelling lists, and "count the spots on the ladybug" math activities you can imagine while teaching students about the wonderful world of insects, but few, if any, are going to go outside and catch a praying mantis to really drive the lesson home.

      Hudson - On April 24, there was a good turnout at Boutwell-3 diamond in Hudson as parents, friends and pets were there for the Little League scrimmage of the Sidewinders versus the Lugnuts. Between the fences, where they could watch all the action, are Craig Jacobs with Luke (furry), Marybeth Goodwin (center) and Didi Snow (right).
