Scouts help out at school
      Marlborough- Marlborough Brownie Troop 2864 under the direction of Troop Leader Stephanie Vilensky spent an afternoon cleaning and planting the flowerbeds in the Richer School courtyard. Scouts are Amanda Vilensky, Marissa Caissie, Catherine Duross, Sarah Fantasia, Christina Kearns, Julia Lambert and Carrie Sibole.

Marlborough Girls Softball kicks off the season with field dedication
      Marlborough - George Baldelli and his grandson Steve Baldelli attend the dedication ceremony for the field renamed to honor their son and father, respectively. On April 26, the former "Hildreth Field" was dedicated to the Baldelli family in memory of their son Stephen, who passed away in October 2007.

      Marlborough - Five women celebrating their 70th Marlborough High School Reunion were full of laughs as they reminisced about people and places of the past. Prompting the reunion was the first Marlborough Alumni and Community Recognition Awards Ceremony, where Class of 1938 graduate Reinalde Poole was honored.

Library to hold Performing Arts Festival Concert
      Marlborough - The Friends of the Marlborough Public Library will host the 11th annual Young People's Performing Arts Festival Concert Wednesday May 28 at 7 p.m. at the Marlborough Public Library, 35 West Main St. Performing in this year's concert are the four finalists who were selected from the March 15 Performing Arts Festival competition.
