After one week, School Committee chair resigns

      Westborough - Bruce Tretter resigned as chair of the Westborough School Committee May 14, seven days after unanimously being elected to the position. "In light of current circumstances facing the School Committee regarding teacher contract negotiations, I'm stepping down as chair," Tretter said.

Center Stage to present 'Heart and Music'
      Westborough - "Heart and Music: A Night of Song" will be presented by Westborough High School's Center Stage and will feature medleys and musical numbers from numerous popular Broadway shows, such as "Wicked" and "Hairspray." The gala event also includes a raffle, with items like theater and Broadway memorabilia and season tickets to several theaters.
