EMC sponsors sold-out golf tournament

Region - Corridor Nine Chamber of Commerce will present its 22nd Annual School/Business Partnership Golf Tournament Thursday June 19 at Juniper Hill Golf Course in Northborough with a 9 a.m. tee-off . EMC is the title sponsor of the tournament, as it has been for the past three years, and each year, the tournament has been a sold-out event.

The annual tournament brings the business community together in a fun-filled atmosphere of good-hearted competition to benefit local education. The success of the annual tournament over the past 20 years has resulted in over $300,000 awarded in scholarships to students and grants for teachers in the core towns of Corridor Nine.

Not only will participants enjoy a great day of golf, but the event also includes holein one contests, breakfast, lunch provided out on the course, hors d'oeuvres and opportunities to win prizes. The raffle table will include over $5,000 in prizes and there is a live auction featuring an autographed Celtics jersey signed by James Posey, an autographed photo of Boston Bruin Ray Bourque and Red Sox tickets.
