Kathryn Wilchynski named 2008 recipient of Female Leadership Scholarship

      Westborough - Kathryn Wilchynski is an active person's active person. The Westborough High School senior, who will graduate Saturday June 7, is a member of the National Honor Society and the Tri-M Musical Honor Society, and has competed on the Rangers' gymnastics and track and field teams.

      Westborough - Greg Maichack starts the May 7 Art of Pastel II Workshop at the Westborough Public Library with some examples for the eager attendees. The Westborough Cultural Council sponsored the workshop for this classroom full of area artists and artists-to-be.

ChengDu warned by selectmen for incident involving minors

      Westborough - A recent issue involving teens with fake identification has prompted the ChengDu Restaurant to change its policies around serving alcohol. The restaurant, which opened on Route 9 in 1981, will no longer serve alcohol to a table if anyone at the table is not 21 years old.
