      Hudson - The Hudson Post 100 American Legion baseball team dropped from serious Zone 5A regular-season title consideration weeks ago, but that hasn't stopped recent Hudson graduates Mike Wood and Evan Childs from going full-tilt, fulltime.

Former Marlborough resident helps divert real-life disaster
      Marlborough - Growing up in Marlborough and playing soccer for the Panthers, Mike Burns relied on his instincts on the soccer pitch to help him be in the right place at the right time. Burns used those timehoned instincts again July 18, this time to help prevent a tragedy that could have killed more than 100 people.

      Hudson - Hudson's Bob Montalto delivers a pitch during the Hawks's 9-6 win over Blackstone July 10 at Sauta Field. Montalto was instrumental in the victory, clubbing a game-winning three-run triple late in the game, as well as earning the save with an inning of scoreless relief.
