Craft fair accepting applications
      Marlborough - The Marlborough Senior Center is now accepting vendor applications for its fifth annual Holiday Craft Fair, which will take place Saturday Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost for crafters is $20 per space, which includes a table and two chairs. Each crafter is asked to donate one item for a raffle to benefit the Senior Center.

'Walk Across America' promotes children's health
      Marlborough - The Marlborough Wellness Council and MassRides are sponsoring Walk Across America for children every Wednesday night through Aug. 20 at the Ghiloni Park track. The walks take place from 6 to 7 p.m.

Gaudete Academy presents 'Romeo and Juliet'
      Marlborough - Sarah Batista and Keith Caram prepare to dance in a scene from William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet," staged by Gaudete Academy, a summer theater program now in its third year for area high school and college students. Directed by Emily C.A. Snyder, the classic play was presented July 24 to 26 at Jacob's Hall in the Masonic Building.

Labor Day Parade welcoming participants
      Marlborough - Mayor Nancy Stevens, Parade Director George Whapham and Recreation Director David Grasso have announced that the 57th annual Marlborough Labor Day Holiday Parade will step off at noon Monday Sept. 1.
