Women invited to sing
      Hudson - Women of Note members, along with several guests, sing a song in four-part a cappella harmony at the first of four musical meetings known as "Summer Sing Fling," held Aug. 4 at Grace Baptist Church. Women of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to attend Monday evenings through Aug. 25 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the church, located at 353 River St.

Hudson voter registration deadline
      Hudson - The Hudson town clerk has reminded residents that Wednesday Aug. 27 is the last day to register to vote in the state primary, to be held Tuesday Sept. 16. Extended hours for registration will be held at the Town Clerk's Office Aug. 27 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. The usual office hours are Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
