      Westborough - Anisha Patel can thank her love of the South Street Diner's chocolate chip pancakes for an extra $500 to spend on her education at UMass-Amherst this fall. Patel won the fifth South Street Diner scholarship, given to graduating Westborough High School students.

Youths return from mission trip to Maine
      Westborough - On July 19 seven students and four adult leaders from St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Westborough returned from a sixday mission trip to Portland, Maine. The group worked with "The Root Cellar," a nonprofit organization that serves the poverty-stricken east side of Portland, where many refugees have settled over the past 15 to 20 years.
