      Hudson - Motorcyclists make the turn from Port Street to River Street, the starting point of the Hudson Portuguese Club Poker Ride, a first-time event held Aug. 17. Thirty-seven motorcyclists participated in the ride. Post-ride activities included a barbecue, poker games, children's entertainment and music provided by DJ Freitas.

      Hudson - A chocolate-chip cookie puts a smile on the face of Teddy Burke, 8, at the second annual St. Michael Parish's Family Picnic, held Aug. 17 at the Hudson Elks Pavilion. Guests were treated to barbecued hamburgers and hot dogs, along with a smorgasbord of summertime treats.
