      Northborough - This summer, Priscilla Sena, a student at Melican Middle School in Northborough, attended the 2008 National Junior Leaders Conference (NJLC), "Discover Global Business and Entrepreneurship," sponsored by LeadAmerica. NJLC is a leadership program for young leaders from around the world.

Schools to hold instrument rental event
      Westborough - Westborough Schools will be holding their annual registration and sign up for the both the elementary school string program and band program Tuesday Sept. 16 at Mill Pond School. Students in third grade or new to the string program in fourth grade may attend an information session and lease an instrument at 5 p.m. at the event.
