Are we there yet?

Northborough/Southborough - The long-awaited completion of Algonquin Regional High School's renovation and expansion project was celebrated Sept. 4 with an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The event marked the end of nearly six years of delays, legal battles, contractor mismanagement and environmental mishaps surrounding the $60 million project, which was approved by the district in 2003.

That the grand opening has finally taken place is a credit to the determination, persistence and dedication of the members of the Algonquin Building Committee.
