St. John's football team returns with experience
      Shrewsbury - Experience and defense will be the highlights of the 2008 edition of the St. John's High School football team. The Pioneers return eight starters from a defense that was 7-4 last year. The team is upperclassmen-heavy, with 24 seniors and 32 juniors on the roster.

Knights of Columbus to host 'Soccer Challenge'
      Westborough - The Knights of Columbus (K of C) Westborough is pleased to announce the third annual Soccer Challenge for boys and girls ages 10 through 14. The competition is based on an accumulation of points from shots from the penalty spot, made on an unguarded goal. Points are assessed on shots penetrating the goal at various points.
