Gregoire to face Vigeant in November
      Marlborough - Danielle Gregoire, the Democratic candidate for the 4th Middlesex District state representative seat, secured 1,667 votes at last week's primary election, securing her victory against Democratic opponent Matthew Giancola, who received 683 votes. Gregoire said that the win has energized her campaign to go forward into November.

Recycling Committee hands out $100 checks
      Marlborough - Some local residents this year will be the recipients of $100 checks and Starbucks gift cards just for recycling. Peggy Ayers, a volunteer with the city's Recycling Committee, explained that the cash initiatives are part of a one-year program to try to boost residents' recycling eff orts.

Solar heating units on display at Heritage Festival
      Marlborough - With the annual Heritage Festival only a week away, Marlborough resident Amy Beaudet is putting finishing touches on a solar demonstration for the "Green Marlborough" display. Beaudet, one of many energy and environmentally concerned residents, was raised in Marlborough and returned to the city last year.
