      Shrewsbury - Town officials have agreed that, although Proposition 2-1/2 overrides have been proposed to balance the budget in four out of the last five years, the current economic climate will prevent them from proposing an override for fiscal year 2010. An exception will be made only in dire circumstances, such as a natural disaster or loss of state funding.

Road-building, improvements continue in Afghanistan

      Tagab Province, Afghanistan - A Humvee grinds up a narrow dirt road in Tagab Province, about two hours east of Kabul. Tires have worn two paths along the rocky and uneven surface, and the Humvee bucks and starts as its wheels abruptly mount protruding rocks and drop into dips.
