Local student wins science award
      Westborough - Jamie B. Becker of Westborough, a graduate student in the Bouve College of Health Sciences at Northeastern University, concentrating in speech-language pathology, was awarded the program's Speech Science Scholarship Award based on academic achievement for the spring semester.

Spectrum to host Golf Classic
      Westborough - Spectrum Health Systems Inc. has announced that its seventh annual Golf Classic will be held Monday Oct. 6. The charity event will be held at Kettle Brook Golf Club in Paxton, proceeds to benefit Spectrum's Substance Abuse Treatment services and the expansion of Women and Children's Center in Westborough.
