Town celebrates 'Spirit of Shrewsbury' with plethora of activities
     Shrewsbury - Below: McGruff the Crime Dog hands out treats to children during the Spirit of Shrewsbury Fall Festival parade Sept. 28. The town-wide festival includes many community events and celebrations through-out the month of September, with a concentration of events held Sept. 27 and 28, such as the Oak Street Expo, Family Fun Fest, craft fair, parade and Shrewsbury Idol Contest. Gymnasts raise money for Children's Hospital
      Shrewsbury - On Sept. 13, the Gymnastics Learning Center celebrated National Gymnastics Day with an Open House in hopes of raising awareness of fitness and to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. More than 100 children passed through the gym and $500 was raised to go to Boston Children's Hospital.
