Jean M. Chambers, 61

Marlborough - Jean M. (Taylor) Chambers, 61, died Sunday Oct. 5, 2008, at UMass Memorial Healthcare in Worcester.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, James Chambers, and her children, James Chambers Jr. and his wife, Rosemary; Peter Chambers; and Debora Woodard and her husband, Scott. She was also the beloved grandmother of Samantha, Danielle, Daniel and Michael, and the sister of Michael Taylor, Peter Taylor, Carole Bowser and Barbara Depres. She was also mother of the late Derek John Chambers.

Mrs. Chambers was born in Marlborough, the daughter of Warren and Frances (Carter) Taylor. She was a graduate of Marlborough High School and, for the past 10 years, drove a school bus for First Student Inc. of Marlborough. She loved to summer on Cape Cod with Beverly.

Funeral services were held Oct. 11 from the John P. Rowe Funeral of Marlborough, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Levine Center, c/o Dr. Yunvs, 119 Belmont St., Worcester, MA 01605.
