Church to host 'Harry Potter Lego Building Extravaganza' Hudson - Students in grades four through seven who enjoy both Harry Potter and building with Legos are invited, along with an accompanying adult, to the Harry Potter Lego Building Extravaganza at the Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson Saturday Nov. 15 from 1 to 3 p.m. For an admission fee of $5 per child, attendees can recreate the Harry Potter world with Legos. Associate Minister Rev. Alice Anacheka-Nasemann has collected numerous Harry Potter Lego sets, from Hagrid's hut to the Knight bus, which she will share in this building workshop. The event is a program of the Spiritual Growth Center of the church. Registration is not mandatory, but the organizers would appreciate knowing who plans to attend. Register by sending e-mail to administrator@ucmh.org or calling the church office at 978-562-9180. "My own kids love creating with building blocks, and who isn't into Harry Potter these days?" Anacheka-Nasemann said. "Harry's adventures reflect the magic in the world around us. People of all ages are stirred by mystery and magic. This afternoon event will be fun for the family. Our church hall is spacious and comfortable, so there's plenty of room for everyone." The Unitarian Church of Marlborough and Hudson has been a part of these two communities for over 150 years. Visitors are welcome to attend Sunday church services and Religious Exploration classes every week at 10:30 a.m. at 80 Main Street, corner of Main and Church, in downtown Hudson. Intentional about welcoming the presence and participation of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons in all aspects of congregational life, the congregation is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association, a liberal denomination that encourages spiritual growth and embraces diversity.
