Rotary Club to hold Fuel Assistance Application, Information Day
      Shrewsbury - To help residents who may be facing difficulty aff ording heating fuel this winter, the Shrewsbury Rotary Club will be hosting a Fuel Assistance Application and Information Day Saturday Nov. 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. The event will be held at the Senior Center at 98 Maple Avenue.

Happy birthday, Josephine Wagner!
      Shrewsbury - Josephine Concetta Ann Giovanelli Wagner celebrated her 90th birthday Oct. 23. A gala event at the Italian American Victory Club in her honor Oct. 19, hosted by her children, Wally and Janet Wagner, Joan and Arthur Waters, Pat and Bill Gulbicki, and Cathy and Dave Maniero. Mrs. Wagner grew up in Shrewsbury and graduated from Fanning Girls Trade School.

DEP to give away WaterSense faucets
      Shrewsbury - The Shrewsbury Water Conservation Project and Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will be giving away more than 150 free WaterSense-labeled faucets to Shrewsbury residents. Recipients will be chosen in a drawing.

St. Anne's to hold 'Holiday Fair'
      Shrewsbury - The St. Anne's Church Holiday Fair will be held Saturday Nov. 8 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Father Smith Center, 130 Boston Post Road (Route 9), in Shrewsbury. Christmas items and gifts for the whole family will be featured, including a Fall Harvest area with decorations, food, raffle prizes, clothing, crafts, jewelry, baked goods and more.
