Rewarding educational excellence
      Northborough - Zeh School's fifth-grade teacher Chris Sardella was surprised at an all-school assembly Oct. 28 when he received a 2008 National Educator Award from the Milken Family Foundation. Part of the surprise included the presentation of a large check - for $25,000 - that goes with the honor.

Correction
      In "Good Scout Award winner has left his mark throughout town" in the Oct. 31 issue of the Community Advocate, we incorrectly listed the year of the "Boys' Life" magazine mentioned. Good Scout Nelson Ball will bring along his 1933 copy of "Boys' Life" magazine to the award ceremony in his honor Thursday Nov. 13 at Indian Meadows Country Club.
