Cub Scouts to hold bottle collection drive

Single tax rate maintained in Shrewsbury
      Shrewsbury - The Shrewsbury Board of Selectmen voted Nov. 10 to retain a single tax rate for town residents and businesses, which will be $9.68 per $1,000 for fiscal year (FY) 2009. The $0.54 increase is a result of the overall decreased valuation of Shrewsbury property.
