State officials to send care packages to U.S. troops
      Marlborough - State Sen. Pamela P. Resor, D-Acton, and State Rep. (and Senator-elect) Jamie Eldridge, D-Acton, are hosting a drive to collect items to send U.S. troops serving overseas. The drive will be held Saturday Dec. 13 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Marlborough Historical Society at 377 Elm St., in Marlborough.

Marlborough comes 'home for the holidays'
     Marlborough - Santa and Mrs. Claus greet children and hand out treats upon their arrival with Mayor Nancy Stevens for the official tree lighting during the "Home for the Holidays" event on Union Common Dec. 5. Junior Woman's Club makes donation to Food Pantry
      Marlborough - (l to r) Marlborough Junior Woman's Club members Sue Waudby and Kathleen Goneau present a check for $2,000 to Carol Phipps, coordinator of the Marlborough Community Services office.
