First Parish Church to host Sid Solomon exhibit
      Northborough - "Scenic Views of Central Massachusetts," 20 oil paintings by Worcester artist Sid Solomon will be on display at the First Parish Unitarian Church, 40 Church St., Northborough, through the end of December.       Northborough - Proctor Elementary School fifth-graders Angelica Payne, Josh Morton, Brendan Earley and Chloe Fay and Laurie Middleton, who is a member of the Northborough Junior Woman's Club (NJWC) and is also a kindergarten aide at Proctor, stand with some of the 371 pounds of candy the school planned to ship to troops serving overseas.

Seniors bring financial know-how to fifth-graders

      Northborough/Southborough - Kim Collins's fifthgrade math students were writing checks and using bank cards to buy lunch, snacks, pencil sharpeners and more at the Tomahawk Trading Post at Neary Elementary School Nov. 19. "I learned how to use a credit card and a debit card and a checkbook," fifth-grader Tamsin Davey said.
