Seventh-, eighthgraders invited to two events over winter break

Southborough - The Southborough Recreation Department has organized two social activities for seventhand eighth-graders during winter break.

On Wednesday, Dec. 31 from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., there will be a New Year's Eve Party in the Woodward School gym and cafeteria. The Recreation Department invites seventh- and eighth-graders to gather their friends, join the party of the year, and count down to the New Year with friends, pizza, music, a disc jockey and snacks. The cost is $15 per person in advance and $20 per person at the door.

On Friday Jan. 2 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., there will be a Recreation Night at Trottier Middle School. Gather friends for an evening of fun and games, including movies, music, pick-up games, table tennis and more. Pizza, snacks and drinks will be available. The cost is $10 per person in advance and $15 per person at the door.

A separate waiver/registration form is required for each event and is available online or at the Recreation Office.
